The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers
and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW

Mon. Feb 27 - General Meeting  at Temple Solel 7pm: Arizona Children’s Action Alliance Children.
Amy Kobeta, Vice president for Arizona Children’s Action Alliance will inform us about local legislation,
the good and the bad, and how it is impacting children and families. She will provide information about
Children’s Action Alliance and give us ideas on how we can make a difference.
Teen Dating Abuse Awareness
One in five teenagers will be involved in an
abusive dating relationship by the time they
leave high school.  In order to help teens
potentially abusive relationship National  
Council of Jewish Women – Arizona Section
runs a program that is provided free of
charge to your youth group or school.

Message from NCJW Arizona Section
It saddens us that Gabby Gifford resigned her seat in the House of Representatives and
we wish her continued success in her rehabilitation.  Gabby has been a steadfast
supporter on many issues facing the women of Arizona as well as all women across the
United States.  She has been a true blue “sister” in many ways.   We look forward to the
day when Gabby returns to public office and she can take up where she left off in her
pursuit of her goals and aspirations
